Programs available through the Roy Cazaly Football Club:

Having a balanced football life:

  • 'Whole of life ' approach to sport (some things are more important)
  • Avoid 'all or nothing' approach to footy (leave room for other sports)
  • Learn the principles of health and exercise science to benefit you for the rest of your life, not just your footy life.

Healthy training & lifestyle habits:

  • Good nutrition from start to finish
  • Avoid overtraining syndrome/burnout
  • Respect your body- Grog

Building Bridges Within Football Communities

Engage with families:

  • Engage & support single parent families with tools & skills
  • (Team) respect for mums & dads, sisters, brothers who miss out on something so we enjoy everything

Include women in the club & the game:

  • Always (24/7) treat women with respect
  • Reflect on the amazing privilege it is to be 'real men' (show you are a competent driver of your own testosterone)
  • Behave in a way that invites women into the football world so we can all benefit from their influence
  • Allow women equal access to the resources of the club & respect 'women only' activities

Maintain relationship with former players:

  • Invite past players to participate as club 'pioneers' by sharing share magic moments with them
  • Invite them to benefit from improvements in knowledge & facilities to enhance their lives e.g. Gutbusters program & other men's health initiatives
